Sam Chuk 100 Year-old Market
This old market is world famous because with its great heritage conservation, it has won an award from the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco). Till this day, 19 patterns of gingerbread work have still adorned old local houses and shops here.
Visitors are promised exceptional experiences when browsing around. This riverside marketplace even has a museum telling about the Samchuk community and its market. There is a long history for the visitors to learn about. The red old post box in front of the market was erected since 1911.

Bueng Chawak Aquarium
Bueng Chawak Aquarium is sharing borders between Suphanburi and Chainat province, and is freshwater lake filled with pink and white lotuses.
The aquarium is part of Bueng Chawak Chalermphrakiat project that was established in 1995 to celebrate His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 50th Year Accession to the Throne.
A total of three buildings make up the aquarium; inside the first building is a collection of seawater and freshwater fish, it has more than 50 species of local, foreign and exotic fishwith a detailed photo-description of each.
The second building consists of a 400 cubic meter underwater tunnel 8.5 meters in length. The last building contains yet another underwater tunnel only this one is 75 meters long, the fish come from all over the world and the highlight is shark tunnel.
Moreover, Bueng Chawak has other attractions such as crocodile pool, zoo and a gift shop that you can it as souvenirs. Bueng Chawak is one of interesting destinations which do not miss to visit, you will spectacular the colorful of fish.

Wat Pa Lelai Worawihan
This ancient royal temple, believed to have been built some 1200 years ago when Suphan Buri was a prosperous community, bears the emblem of King Rama IV on its gable. A huge seated Buddha image named “Luang Pho To", 23.46 meters in height, is enshrined in the main chapel. Semi-annual festivals are held in April and November for locals to pay their respects to the image.
In addition, a traditional Thai-style house known as Khum Khun Chang can be enjoyed. The house’s construction and design carefully follow descriptions in a piece of classic literature, “Khun Chang-Khun Phaen”, which was penned by the early Bangkok era’s most beloved Thai poet, Sunthon Phu.
The temple is located on Malai Maen Road, Tambon Rua Yai, on the western bank of the Suphan Buri River (Tha Chin River). It is open daily from 6.00 am-5.00 pm.
Dragon Descendants Museum
The 35-meter high and 100 meter long gigantic dragon building in the shrine of Suphan Buri city pillar is known as the Dragon Descendants Museum. The museum was founded in the year 1996 when Banhan Silpa-archa was the prime minister of Thailand to commemorate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China.
The museum inside the dragon building is arranged into twenty one display rooms , presenting 5,000 years of Chinese history, philosophy, beliefs and its close relationship with Thailand. In addition, there is an interesting exhibition showing the background of Thais with a dash of Chinese.

Buffalo Village
Occupying over 27 acres land, this water buffalo preservation area not only contains a water buffalo ranch, but also features the authentic rural lifestyle of farmers in Thailand’s central region. Watch the daily activities of farmers such as rice-threshing, and explore traditional Thai homes on stilts.
Various areas feature different types of folk knowledge such as traditional Thai medicine, traditional Thai massage, indigenous herbs, and Thai astrology. Visitors can also enjoy half-hour buffalo shows throughout the day.
The Thai Water Buffalo Preservation Village is located on Suphan Buri-Chai Nat Road, Amphoe Si Prachan at Km 115-116 of Highway 340.

Banharn-Jamsai Tower
Towering over 123.25 meters, this building offers visitors bird’s eye views of the nearby Chaloem Phatthara Rachini Park and as well as the town.
It is in fact the first and highest viewpoint tower in Thailand, and has four viewpoint decks. Telescopes, snacks and other amenities are available on the decks. In addition, the interior is decorated with murals featuring King Naresuan the Great.
The tower is located in the downtown area on Nang Phim Road. It is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10.00 am-7.00 pm, and on weekends and public holidays from 10.00 am-8.30 pm.
Ticket prices for adults and children before 6.00 pm are 30 baht and 15 baht respectively, and increase to 40 baht and 20 baht respectively after 6.00 pm.
